Our name Cerro Rodante Alpaca Farm, Spanish for "hills rolling", is located in the "Rolling Hills" of West Virginia. We are conveniently located off US Route 50 in Pennsboro WV., 31 miles from Clarksburg, 30 miles from Parkersburg, and 47 miles from Marietta Ohio. We specialize in some of the rarest Full Peruvian genetics.  We are now starting to see the fruits of our labor in our successive "gene-rations". We have been in the alpaca business for seven years. We started our farm as boarders of our fine Peruvian alpacas, to now providing hands on care at our farm. We hand selected our first two female alpacas from imported Peruvian stock (which was limited to about 3,000 animals)and have bred for fine quality crias. We are currently now breeding the second generation and are looking forward to the next generation of luxurious fiber alpacas.

As a previous boarder and current breeder of luxurious alpacas, we also offer an understanding of the business from fiber to fashion. We understand boarding and the common anxieties that come with boarding. As a member of AOBA, ARI, and AFCNA we are aware of the necessity of producing quality fiber and upholding the breeding standards of our alpacas.
